As part of cooperation with higher education institutes, Rosneft organized the Rosneft Day in Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, which has become a traditional event.
Cooperation between the Company and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology has been regularly carried out for almost 10 years. Over the years, dozens of outstanding graduates of such single-purpose Master's programs as ‘Fundamental and Applied Geophysics’ and ‘System Analysis and Management in Large Systems’ completed an internship in the Company and currently work in Scientific Technical Development and Investment Department, Think Tank, Arctic Research Center, and Rosneft subsidiaries.
The event included Company presentation, which involved representatives of Scientific Technical Development and Investment Department and Personnel Department.
Students and professors of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology were introduced with indices, showing the results of Company operations, its position in oil and gas sector worldwide, and long-term development objectives, requiring development and appliance of high technologies, as well as large-scale implementation of innovations.
During the Rosneft Day, graduate students of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, planning to enroll Master's programs highly sought in Rosneft were polled. Upon review of the survey, Personnel Department will select the best and most highly motivated students, who will receive recommendations for entrance examinations in Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology Master’s program. During the period, students will undertake a two-year internship in Rosneft, which will result in the conclusion on their employment with the Company.
As part of Rosneft Day in Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Rosneft representatives had a look at audiences and laboratories, equipped with the support of the Company. Practice of the partner university support will continue in this year.
