Udmurtneft discovered two new fields - Vesennee and Pikhtovkinskoe - the reserves of which amount to 0.6 mmt of C1+C2 and 0.2 mmt of C1 respectively. The discoveries have been confirmed by The State Commission on Mineral Reserves.
Vesennee field was found as a result of drilling an exploratory well with daily flow rate of 62 m3 of dry crude oil per day. Oil-bearing capacity of Vereiskian, Bashkir, Visean and Tournaisian deposits at the eponymous structure of Votkinsk licence area was confirmed.
Pikhtovkinskoe field was discovered due to drilling an exploratory well with daily flow rate of 15 m3 at Pikhtovkinsk structure of Sharkansk licence area. Oil-bearing capacity of Vereiskian deposits was confirmed, and oil-bearing capacity of Zavolzhsk deposits was first found.
In addition, the drilling of exploratory wells at Sharkanskoe field resulted in discovering of oil-bearing capacity of Bashkir deposits, reserves increment amounted to 0.5 mmt of B1.
The success of the prospect and exploratory drilling was ensured with application of advanced methods of seismic and geophysical activities.
Drilling of an exploratory well at Sharkanskoe field and a prospect well at North-Cherepanovsk structure of Sharkansk area is scheduled on 2017.
