Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin and Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov held a working meeting at the company's headquarters in Moscow. During the meeting the parties discussed issues related to the company's operations in the Republic.
Igor Sechin and Ramzan Kadyrov reviewed the progress of implementation of the agreement under which Rosneft provided the Republic with funding for construction and reconstruction of infrastructure designed for environmental and sanitary safety control.
Further steps on provision of housing for people of the Chechen Republic, including employees of Rosneft's subsidiary Grozneftegaz, were also discussed at the meeting.
The parties agreed to create a working group in order to increase efficiency of cooperation within joint projects.

During the SPIEF in June 2015, Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin and Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov signed a cooperation agreement. The parties agreed to take all the necessary measures to replenish hydrocarbon reserves in accordance with the license agreements in effect.
Rosneft and the Chechen Republic also signed an additional agreement aimed at providing the Republic with funding for construction and reconstruction of hydraulic and flood-control structures, as well as infrastructure designed for environmental and sanitary safety control.
