Rosneft and the Voronezh Tourist Information Centre (TIC) presented a joint project to develop car tourism. The presentation of the four routes took place in the House of Journalists of the Voronezh region and at the Company’s filling stations. As part of the project presentation, volunteers held an informative interactive quiz for tourists and a raffle for special prizes.
Rosneft is committed to the development of domestic automobile tourism and aims to create comfortable conditions for customers on the road. The Company’s retail network is one of the largest in Russia with about 3 thousand filling stations. That is why Rosneft is focusing on the development of domestic tourism and car travel.
The new project includes four routes for travelling by car in Voronezh and the Voronezh region in the directions: North, South, West, East. The routes include popular tourist spots both in Voronezh and near federal motorways, first of all M-4 «Don».
In addition, the developed routes include key sites: Divnogorye and Kostenki museum reserves, Nelzha.Ru and Bely Kolodets parks, Voronezh V.M. Peskov reserve, Voronezh Oceanarium, as well as historical towns of the region Ostrogozhsk, Bobrov, Boguchar, Pavlovsk.
Thanks to the specially designed navigation of the car routes, tourists will be able to use the time during the trip rationally, visit the main attractions and feel the atmosphere of the region.
Rosneft’s retail network in the Voronezh region consists of 77 filling stations. Of these, 15 are located on the M4 motorway to Voronezh – the region’s main artery, used by residents of central Russia to travel to the sea. At filling stations tourists can refuel their cars with guaranteed quality fuel, have a comfortable rest in a cafe and buy goods needed for the journey.
Information on the car routes is available on the Voronezh tourist information portal and in the network of Rosneft filling stations. By the end of the year, the Company’s filling stations plan to organise informative and entertaining events aimed at popularising car tourism in Voronezh and the Voronezh region.
