Rosneft employees took part in the Moscow Marathon. This year marks the Company’s tenth participation in the race.

150 participants from the Rosneft running community took part in the 42.2km marathon and a 10km individual satellite race.

In addition, five other employees took part in the Company relay race. Rosneft athletes took 4th place out of 117. The team finished in 2:28:40, improving their own time by 4 minutes and 10 seconds from last year.

Rosneft is a regular participant in the Moscow Marathon corporate race, demonstrating high levels of sporting achievement. The results of the Company’s corporate team in 2017 and 2018 are among the top five in the history of the Moscow Marathon.

The competition traditionally attracts the largest Russian companies from various industries, as well as teams from the best amateur and semi-professional running communities.

Supporting mass, professional and youth sports and healthy lifestyles is one of the key areas of social work of Rosneft and its subsidiaries. The Company funds the construction of ice arenas, sports complexes and multi-purpose sports grounds in the regions of its operations. With Rosneft’s support, dozens of modern large-scale sports facilities have been opened in Russia’s regions. The Company supports projects that develop and promote physical culture and healthy lifestyles.
