History

LLC RN-Uvatneftegaz is engaged in hydrocarbon exploration and production at 19 licensed areas in the south of the Tyumen Region (Uvat District), in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra and in the Omsk Region. The oil production enterprise assets form part of the Rosneft Uvat project, which is one of the Company's priorities.

RN-Uvatneftegas also acts as the operator of the Ai-Yaunskiy license area in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra. In total, the Company has 37 oil fields and one oil and gas condensate field.

The area of the Uvat project is 27 thousand square kilometers. The current recoverable oil reserves as of 01.01.2019 amount to 376 million tons. Oil from the fields of the Uvat group is pumped into the system of main oil pipelines.

The first well in the Uvatsky district was stoke more than 50 years ago, however, commercial production was started only in 1992 at the Kalchinskoye field. The development of Uvat, as a new oil province, entered the active phase in 2007. Then the first oil was received at the largest fields of the project, Ust-Tegusskoye and Urnenskoye fields, the industrial development of which was started in 2009.

RN-Uvatneftegaz continues to develop the Uvat project. In 2018, the volume of accumulated oil production since the beginning of its implementation exceeded 90 million tons. A new field, Taltsiskoye, was put into commercial operation and became the 15th field commissioned by the company.

RN-Uvatneftegaz produced 10.6 million tonnes of oil in 2018.

RN-Uvatneftegaz is 100% owned by Rosneft.
